The public meeting will be followed by a private meeting between parish officials and Ken Feinberg, who is overseeing the claims process. The purpose of that meeting is to discuss concerns with the claims process for St. Bernard residents and businesses, according to the office of Parish President Craig P. Taffaro Jr.

The public meeting will be at 9 a.m. in the St. Bernard Parish Council Chambers, 8201 W. Judge Perez Drive in Chalmette.

Claimants must bring information and documentation for any specific problems they are having with their claims to Taffaro's office by Thursday at 4 p.m. The office is located on the second floor of the Government Complex. For more information, call 504-278-4227.
