New Orleans banker Gregory Rattler Sr. has been named chairman of the
board of directors of the Council for a Better Louisiana, a Baton
Rouge-based research organization.
Rattler is first vice president of
the Government and Non-Profit Banking Group of J.P. Morgan Chase Bank.
During his 30-year career in the public and private sector, Rattler has
served as first assistant state treasurer and deputy director of finance
for the city of New Orleans. Rattler holds a bachelor's degree in
public administration and a master's degree in business administration
from Loyola University in New Orleans. He is a fellow of CABL's
Leadership Louisiana program, the New Orleans Regional Leadership
Institute and the Loyola Institute of Politics.
Other newly elected board members include: Patrick Moore of Alexandria, chairman-elect; Robert Hamm of Shreveport, treasurer; Alice Pecoraro of Morgan City, secretary; and Robert Levy of Ruston, immediate past chairman.
