There will be a New Orleans Biosciences District town hall meeting tonight from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Xavier University's University Center, Grand Ballroom, third floor. There will be a discussion regarding the planned 1,500-acre medical and biosciences research district in Mid-City and what it will mean for local residents.
The Irish Channel Neighborhood Association will meet at 7 p.m., at Irish Channel Christian Fellowship, 819 First St. Tonight's agenda includes the election of officers and a discussion of a proposed City Charter amendment to reorganize NORD.
