Gov. Bobby Jindal has named Robert Barkerding Jr. of Metairie to the New Orleans Dock Board. The seven-member panel regulates the commerce and traffic of the port and harbor of New Orleans. Barkerding is president and owner of Admiral Security Services Inc., which has locations in Metairie and Mobile, Ala.
