One of the Jefferson Economic Development Commission's four finalists to succeed Lucien Gunter as executive director has withdrawn from the search, JEDCO Chairman Jim Garvey said. Donald Shea, the Jacksonville (Fla.) Civic Council's executive director, did not give a public reason for pulling down his name.

- Jerry Bologna, a JEDCO staffer since 2000 and a former residential loan officer at Eustis Mortgage Corp. He is currently JEDCO's deputy director. (Read Bologna's resume.)

- Karl Kalbacher, who has worked the past 21 years in environmental programs, project management and economic development in Delaware and Maryland.
